After an entire summer of dealing with  annoying & demanding tourists, it was nice to actually be the cranky & demanding tourist for once. And while Beach City was  kind of small-ish and off-the-map for a place Wendy had travelled so far to see ( the East Coast? Really? Couldn’t her cousin have picked, like, Santa Barbara or something? ), she was actually enjoying her vacation so far.

                     “ You live here, right? Would you                         happen to know where a girl can                         get a good pizza around here? ”

~ ☆ “So what time are you done today?” Steven asked with a smile as Peedee handed him his bag--the usual bits, of course. With the gems out on a mission for what would be the better part of the day, Steven was hoping to spend some time with his friend. ~ ★

A thought about them that they’d never share:

Lars doesn’t really think about Peedee a lot and there’s not a lot of things he wouldn’t share if he did so??? can’t say

First impression of them:

he was his best friend’s little brother so naturally, he thought that he was annoying and clingy but he actually didn’t mind peedee that much as a kid. aside from him being five years younger, he wasn’t the WORST person to be around

Favorite thing about them:

He’s a good kid (and a good brother, even if Lars doesn’t like ronnie) and offers him free fries sometimes even though lars never accepts

Least favorite thing about them:

he’s like 13 for starters. but also, lars is already unfairly biased against him just for being ronaldo’s little brother. sorry peedee.

Hopes for their future relationship:

tbh he doesn’t have any hopes. they’re not friends, he’s not looking to be friends. he’s content with how things are.

A thought about them that they’d never share: You’re way more mature then I am.First impression of them: Really smart, hard working kid. Got a good head on your shoulders but needs to relax more. Favorite thing about them: You’re so hard working, man. You’re mature and smart and you keep this up you’re going to be a great adult.Least favorite thing about them: You need to relax a bit more, realize that even though you’v got responsibilities and stuff that you’re still a kid and can still have fun.Hopes for their future relationship: Maybe hang out some time, get you to relax for just a day and act like a kid again.

A thought about them that they’d never share: Honestly? Kiki had a crush on Ronaldo for a short while. She would never mention it to Peedee because it’s pretty silly looking back on it and, hey, he doesn’t need to be knowing that. First impression of them: Kiki always liked Peedee, thought he was nice to be with like Steven. I’m imagining that when she was in middle school, she would either babysit Peedee or just spent a lot of time with the kid if he ever wanted to play. Kiki saw him as a little brother, still does - but respects and expects him more as he’s gotten older.Favorite thing about them: His intelligence, Peedee’s nice to carry on a conversation with and they’ve always been close enough in maturity that their ages have never conflicted on one another. She appreciates him for that.Least favorite thing about them: For his age, he’s a bit cynical. And while Kiki doesn’t fault him for it, it just makes her a little sad that it’s Peedee’s perspective now. So from time to time, she’ll try to encourage a brighter prospect for him. Hopes for their future relationship: That they will stay friends, not that Kiki is expecting that Peedee would ever break that - but just he’s a really nice kid to know. She wants to see where he goes from here on.

Thankfully, it was not a busy day at Beach Citywalk Fries. Garnet  had  been  staring   at   the  menu  for  a  solid  two minutes without another person lining up behind her. When she  finally caught Peedee’s attention,  she  kept  silent  for another few  dragged-out moments before asking  a  rather straightforward question.

“What are ‘the bits’?” It wasn’t something she asked out of her own curiosity. She was asking for Pearl.
