Day 86 of #100daysofhealing . . Dhanurasana - Bow pose. One of those I love to hate! I will avoid this pose a lot. First, because my lower back can get easily sore, but also because it demands so much from me that I want to leave the pose, as soon as I get to it. . Obviously my inner yogi, will the invite me to observe why is that. Well to me this is a very vulnerable pose and you need to be fully engaged to practice it. So this is one of those, where I have to remind myself that I am safe now while also learn about what it takes to be emotional vulnerable! After all, the physical aspects that you train for this pose are, in fact, the components for wholehearted vulnerability: Strength, courage (this pose intimidates me a lot), and presence (you have to be focused in order to hold the pose without loosing your breath). . #bowpose is a tangible example of the deeper meaning hidden within this practice. Is learning about life and collecting its wisdom through the movement of our body. . How do you practice being vulnerable? What is that thing that you continue to practice, even when it takes you out of your comfort zone? Do you have a pose that challenges you?. . . #mentalhealthawareness #illo #doodleyogi #dhanurasana #the100dayproject2018 #storytelling #deephealing #tombowdualbrushpen #rewildyourheart #backtobasics #creativeliving #yogaforall (at Jacksonville, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/Brdgt7vB2fG/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1babbles1nxr6
