As a means of getting some extra money, I've been very interested in taking commissions lately. However, since it's been so long since I've drawn anything proper, I realized I needed to make some sample pics showing off what I can do. This is one of them - the drawing being of Dizzie-Dog's Doolah character; I don't entirely recall the specifics of this characters, other than that she's hybrid creature and also a pirate.

Like the previous drawing I uploaded here, I've already talked a lot about this drawing over on my deviantART account and I'd rather not repeat myself here. Besides, most of what I talk about isn't so much about the drawing as it is why I chose to draw a character for Diz. (long story shot: she helped encourage me to finish a drawing I simply wasn't having fun with and was causing me great grief, so I wanted to express my gratitude in some way). Aside from the fact that the character is fun to draw (and I did have fun with this one), it also gave me a chance to try my hand at a different body type.

Truth be told, I don't know if this character actually drinks. I just assume she does because of the whole pirate thing. If she doesn't, well... I dunno, just assume the tankard has some other sort of beverage in it. I'm not entirely sure what can and can't be plausible in Diz's world.

Doolah is entirely Dizzie-Dog's character. I've already linked to her deviantART, but here's a link to her Tumblr, as well. Recently, she's taken to making plush characters (no, she's not open to commissions, so don't bother asking). You should check her out, she's worth visiting.

This drawing is intended to be a digital sketch. Something that I could get done quickly and wouldn't be too much strain on my left hand, thus explaining the scratchy outlines. If I was commissioned to make such a thing, I would probably sketch it out in a color of my choosing unless told otherwise by the client.

Still having to force myself to draw. Decided to set myself a challenge and draw what Doolah could possibly look like as an animal (i.e. a wolf-horse/donkey... thing). Will slap some colour onto this later, as I need to slap some colour on some walls in the house first XD.
