Doom3guy for me was always a highly interesting and complex character. On one side, he is a total badass who can adapt to any life threatening situation due to his experiences and intelligence. He is well disciplined, professional, loyal, while carrying many qualities which are necessary for a well established, functioning leadership. He is serious, sometimes cold, distant, and usually takes time to actually trust.

In his personal life though, he is totally different. He cherishes his loved ones to the core, willing to do everything for them without questioning. His admiration and trust have no limits, especially when it comes to his wife and 2 daughters, who mean the world to him. In such a desolate future, where the UAC is in control of everything and wars have been waging all around the globe since the dawn of the 22nd century, they represent the hope and stability that is worth living for. After surviving the invasion of Mars City, this prospect grew even stronger.

My OC and him got together when they were still attending the same high school back in Oklahoma City. She is cherokee descent which he finds amusing to this day. While he left to join the UAC Marines, she became a psychiatrist (working for the UAC as well), usually treating patients with PTSD and other psychiatric disorders that are usual in colonial/celestial environments. Even though they are often far away from each other, they developed a strong and unbreakable bond that carried them successfully through the hardships of the upcoming years.

This whole experience was certainly memorable. It not only made me grow as a writer but as an amature translator as well. Putting my English skills to the test was undoubtedly hard, yet highly rewarding in the end. I feel like i can only get better from this
