doomedstars is polyam so why not rocky x adrian?

perhaps adrian DID take on a new mate(very very rare since the movie charcterizes eridians as mating for life but in the book rocky thinks adrian might have) but when rocky returned alive they didnt kick out the other one, the three worked out a V situation w the new one and rocky being platonic friends and sharing adrian's romantic love.

also im headcanoning my own oc/headcanon and saying that shes jyn (since doomedstars has cassian)

Simon - the first to deny reality, especially if its similar to things hes experienced before. he will be crying but it takes a bit, usually if he feels hopeless. if its something he knows how to fix he will and he'll be confident about it. but the second he hears a disenbodied voice or sees weird shadows hes shaking and rambling to some unknown god. he also 100% has clostriphobia now and will freak out if he cant find an exit.

Ryland Grace - crying. thats his go to. he'll cry AND get to work trying to do something. but hes a crier first, not nessisarily the first thing he does though, first it depends on what he can do about it and what affect it will have. if its like the taomeba leak where he knows exactly how to solve it its fine. if its like rocky not waking up he'll cry. possibly a panic attack too depending on the situation. he does get angry and punch things as well. this is very common of him if hes upset - he needs an outlet.

Cassian Andor - hes a get things done first, deal with the emortional aftermath later. bro will get through the situation then as soon as hes safe he'll cry. most likely with a panic or anxiety attack and lots of yelling if theres someone responsible (that isnt his boyfriends). actually. he might get angry at his bfs if theyre responsible. he'll hate himself later tho. hes prone to pushing away his emotions and using logic first in a stressful situation. this triggers ryland's trauma about Eva Stratt and they get into a yelling match (maybe this triggers something in simon and makes it all 10x worse?!).

Cassian is a cooker

He and bix would share the roll when they were together and Cassian would cook with his adoptive parents(both headcanons). So when he lives alone he has an array of recipes to cook from that he knows from memory.

When he joins Simon and Ryland he doesn’t have any of the ingredients he needs so he works with Adrian and others to grow the food, and synthisize the rest.

ryland cannonically hates to cook (from the book) and simon probably doesnt know how(see 'eden is a cult' and 'barely any resorces left to make Good food') so they are both happy to leave cassian do all the cooking, and he loves to cook (makes him feel useful, gives him something to do, something he enjoys, helps him relax)

and he DOES, he goes all out making fancy big dinners all the time, he loves suprising him workaholic boyfriends and forcing them to relax

because of the social taboo around food on erid the eridians never talk about it and its a private event between the three humans. rocky is almost curious about it but never talks about it much, adrian is similar but ok with it since they are the main one of the eridians to help create the food. once they get the proccess down cassian takes over fully with some help from simon

yk what yeah anyone who dies in the stars gets miraculously teleported to Ryland Grace’s biodome and they all live happily ever after

anyone with the motif ‘I just wanna love’ and who is essentially a sacrifice and died in space is added to the polycule(as long as it’s appropriate) (everyone else are in-laws)
