i was also really upset about alt milla SIGH ): i didn’t ship her with ludger but god were they cute
And her interactions with Elle? Alt Milla just got such a shitty hand in life and the game was terrible to her. (Well, the game is terrible to everyone but she just had such a bad time.) I wish she'd been around longer because maybe then at least there might have been time to WRITE A LITTLE HAPPINESS INTO HER STORY...

I’m also mad. but ever angrier at how she was kinda forgotten. Namco did a well good job making me have weird mix feelings over Xillia 1 cast.
Admittedly, as much as I love the X1 cast I get so upset when I think about how they treated her. Like, I get it. And I can't really blame them. She really isn't their Milla and it's not like she's supposed to be there in the first place. But they could at least try to not compare her to their Milla constantly to her face. ;_; It's not Milla's fault she's there.
And part of my anger is with how they seemed too lazy to pair Jude up with anyone but Milla in the early game because they wanted him to be with Milla Maxwell for her episodes in the late game... and he treats her so.... ehhhhhh. He seems really nice to her in English but in JP he calls her "Milla-san" (whereas he's quick to be on first-name basis with everyone else and it shows) and it's SO OBVIOUS that he's just being overly polite, but cold because he's keeping her at this huge emotional distance. But it's so awkward because the game still has them standing next to each other and tries to make excuses for why they keep accompanying each other on their character episodes and it's so obvious he just wants this Milla to not be a thing because he'd rather have his Milla back and he doesn't want to even try to get close to this one. (Although I guess at the same time he can't help but want to look out for her... sIGH...)
So the only people who are ever genuinely WARM to her are Ludger and Elle and they don't even really get any time to grieve or miss their Milla because major events start unfolding in the plot so quickly after that and different trauma is shoved to the forefront. The party feels bad about what happens to Alt Milla, you can tell, but they also seem very quick to get over Alt Milla and embrace Milla Maxwell and then Alt Milla just... doesn't really get mentioned very much again, as far as I remember? And it sucks. Because she was really important to Elle and Ludger and they are the main characters.
