THERE WASN'T MUCH SHE COULD SAY AT THIS POINT that wouldn't just come off as another excuse. Taissa had done more than enough to try and help Natalie by paying for rehab not just once and as much as it helped to a point, it never seemed to last before the brunette was back on her usual track of eventually relapsing. There was still a part of her that wanted to make the woman proud and yet, she was nothing more than a constant disappointment and a source of irritation. Surprise, surprise. It was the one thing she was good at. ❝ I am trying, you know? I just… ❞ she hesitates in her wording, almost shamed to admit that she wasn't doing as great as she should have been. Taissa had her own problems, why she had ever even bothered helping Natalie was still beyond her. Apologizing in general was never one of her strong suits so as she stood there awkwardly, she ran fingers through stringy hair and sighed out heavily. ❝ I'm sorry, Tai. ❞
