So one thing I am very proud of, if not the most proud of of all the things I've written this year, is actually only a short scene.

Yes, I have a whole story behind this and maybe I actually get to write more of it someday XD

I think one of my favourite (finished) fics in the Witcher fandom is one of the earlier ones.

It's pre-relationship Geraskier and I really like how I've written it 😊

But also the Veskier fic (which focuses on Geraskier friendship though) I wrote. It was the first longer fic I wrote in the fandom and I am really proud of it!

Round 2 for the writing weekend: “You’re bleeding” prompt + Bloodstained clothes for BTHB. Reaper!Bones and Spock (platonic or otherwise), where Spock's the only one to know the truth and is quite concerned over the situation ;)

Trained soldier.

Trained doctor.

Untouchable.

He can't die.

Why are his clothes full of blood?

So much blood!

Enemies killed?

The natives had blue blood though.

On his shirt….is it his blood?

Why is he bleeding?!

Too much blood!

"You are bleeding." Spock finally stated after several moments of just looking - observing - staring.

"It's nothing." Leonard didn't even looked up from where he was trying to get the computer-seeming device to work, a job probably more suited for Spock. 

"Your uniform is full of blood!" The first officer argued experasted. This was not the time or the place to argue, they were still in danger. But Leonard was hurt badly. 

"It's not all my blood,you know?" Leonard retorted.

Spock took a deep breath. Wasn't Reaper taking this serious? He must feel some kind of pain, right? Did he just ignore it? He couldn't, could he?

"Why did it not heal already?" Spock instead choose to question. 

Now Leonard finally looked up, looked at him. His lips were pressed into a tight line. He seemed pale. Blood loss. Pain. Stress. 

"I think the weapon was poisoned." the doctor and soldier replied. 

Again Spock was left staring. Poisoned. So would Leonard not heal? Or just slower? Would he bleed to death before they would find a way out? 

The first officer needed to do something. Anything. He needed to help the soldier in bloodstained clothes. Needed to heal the faithful doctor. 

Spock looked around. There had to be something useful around here. But neither he or Reaper were familiar with this technology. 

"Take off your shirt." Spock then demanded. 

Leonard raised an eyebrow. "We are not safe here, we should…" 

"I'm not gonna let you die here! Bleeding to death. Let me help you!" The half Vulcan interrupted, sounding close to desperate. 

Thankfully Leonard decided not to argue any more and took off his shirt and undershirt, grimacing slightly as he did so. 

Spock inspected the bleeding injury. A long, deep cut, going nearly over the whole right side of Reaper's body. He absentmindedly wondered, how one managed to get the careful and trained soldier like this. However, the more important question was, how to stop the bleeding.

Pressure. 

"Lie down." Spock said and pulled of his own uniform shirt. 

The doctor sighed, he probably knew exactly what the first officer planned to do, but obeyed anyway. 

Spock kneeled down beside him and pressed his shirt onto the wound, causing Leonard to hiss in pain. 

"You can't do much without medical equipment." Leonard stated, "That's why we should rather focus on getting out of here."

Spock shook his head. "If your body can't fight the poison and heal you completely soon, you will be dead before we manage to find a way out."

 "Then leave me behind!" Reaper insisted, "I already lived long enough." 

Spock glared at him. "I would never leave you behind." 

That silenced Leonard for now. There was something soft, something vulnerable in his eyes as he looked at Spock. 

After a few minutes however, Leonard spoke up again:"We can't stay here forever,so…"

Just in that moment a familiar voice sounded, coming from Leonard's comm. "Bones? Spock? Can you hear me? Please answer!" 

Spock quickly grabbed the communicator, before Leonard could even attempt to move. 

"Yes captain, we can hear you! Can you beam us up? The doctor is injured." Spock answered. 

"We are working on locating you, but in a few more minutes we should be able to beam you up." Jim told them.

"Good." Spock sighed, feeling relieved and ended the conversation. 

"You know, there is a big chance that medical will find out when they treat me…" Leonard stated, looking at the ceiling. 

"Yes." Spock said, "But I am also aware, that you are respected and well loved, so I don't doubt they would keep your secret." 

Reaper also didn't doubt that Geoffrey and Chapel would keep his secret, if he asked them. He also had the slight feeling Spock would take matters into his own hands if he had to. 

So after a moment of silence he exclaimed:"Maybe it's time to tell them anyway." 

Now that surprised the half Vulcan. "Are you sure?" 

"They deserve to know." Leonard replies, "It's probably about time that I stop hiding myself from loved ones like Geoff, Jim, Christine, Scotty and all the others." Then Reaper looked at Spock with hope in his eyes, "Maybe I can finally have a home I don't have to leave." 

Spock allowed himself to smile and squeezed Leonard's shoulder. 

Everything would turn out alright, he was sure.

Hey guys, the story I write with @weresilver-in-space continues! :D

Haven't seen this yet? Well,if you are a Spones fan, like Doomtrek (Reaper! Bones) and to read a bit of angst you should take a look at this ;)

Lord, as I just told @cuddlememerrick, and this is not something I can keep to myself, I'm pouring so much into ARITS. So much. There is just so much of my time and energy going into this fanfic. It’s a learning experience and I love it as the person writing it and as the person who would want to read something like this. Plot-driven-ish stuff (It’ll make sense eventually, I hope.)

I’m the type of writer that often thinks “what am I trying to accomplish with this” and for once, a fanfic is receiving this treatment and I’m not sure what that says about me. That I’m giving the “literature” thinking to a fic. That it has a purpose in my mind beyond the entertainment value all stories have.

Because they all do have entertainment value and it is perfectly okay to stay at that. But here I am. Giving A Reaper In The Stars so much more than what I initially thought I would. The 209 years between Doom and Star Trek, I’m covering most of them. And surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like it’s that much time. It feels natural and a compelling thing to write about.

In the fic, I feel like there’s a bit of an exaggerated thing that happens to everyone at some point. I hadn’t quiiite realized I was going down this route but now that I know, I want to keep at it. It’ll be good, I hope.

I’m not even making sense, I feel, and I’m running my mouth here, but damn, I had to get this out there. I had a shitty day for the most part and working on this fic is improving my mood a little.
