Jennifer Wilson (1932-2022)

American edition of Mutant 59: The Plastic-Eaters from Bantam Books, 1973. Kit Pedler and Gerry Davis' speculative science fiction novel had first been published in the UK in 1971, as Mutant 59: The Plastic Eater (note the original title is singular, the American title plural). The book was adapted from Pedler and Davis' first script for their BBC series Doomwatch (1970 - 1972), although the book version does not feature any of the characters from the show and is presented as a separate entity entirely.
