All Along the Watchtower by The Jimi Hendrix Experience debuted Sep 68 and peaked at number 20.
Jimi was born in Seattle and charted seven times 1967-71. This Bob Dylan song was Jim's only time in the top 40, although his albums were all very popular. In England, the song peaked at number five and was his fourth of five top ten hits.
