if you're walking next to someone (like on purpose), and you come to a door (and you're the one to open it), how do you handle it?

i open the door and go through before them, still holding the door

i open the door and wait for them to go through, then i go

i do both of these

depends on which way the door opens

i don't hold the door for them at all, but i'm able to

i can't open doors/the other person always has to

I’m firmly in the closed preference. I only leave it open when the house is empty and I want to leave it open for the pets but that is rare. I can’t take the bleed of noises, must stay shut.
