So on my campus every year from the class that will graduate in 2017 and on will have to live on campus. The only way you can live off campus is if you are married is if you are married, have a child or are divorced. So while at my work study job in our Student Life Office one of my friends was trying to figure out how he could make this work, especially since he is gay. This is what happened.
Resident Life Coordinator: Well I need to get to class. I'll leave you two to figure out how to get married or someone pregnant.
Gay Friend (who will now just be GF): *To me* Hey, what are you doing tonight.
Me: *Laughing*
GF: Do you want to have my baby?
Me: *Laughing* No. I don't want kids until 27. You're a little early (considering I am only 18).
GF: But we could have beautiful mixed babies.
Me: True, but no I'm good.
GF: You don't have to do anything, except birth it. I want to live off campus.
Other Friend: *Silently sitting around the whole conversation* But won't she have to pay child support?
GF: I don't care about that.
ME:* Still lauging*
GF: *to me* Just think about it.
LATER
GF: Hey, so do you want to have my babies?
Me: Still no.
GF: We can just get married.
Me: That would go over better with my mom rather than having kids.
Resident Life Coordinator: How about we all just agree to not get married or intentionally get someone pregnant just to live off campus.
