I just really love how Aelin is Dorian's light especially after everything he's gone through. She really just gives him so much hope to become a better person, a better king and hope that together, they can make the world better than it was before.

“[...]enemies must become allies[...]” is a line in the summary of Empire of Storms and I’d like to think that this is symbolic of Terassen and Adarlan’s rift because of what the King of Adarlan had done. With Dorian and Aelin now rulers of their countries, they obviously would ally to fight the dark forces (as mentioned in the summary) meaning that the feud between these two countries would have to be stopped and their rift mended. If this were to happen, it would allow the support for Dorian and Aelin by the people and their duties to the people won’t hinder them from falling in love (again) and having a relationship with each other, thus the prevalence of Doraelin.

Headcanon where in ToG5, when Dorian has nightmares, it's about losing Aelin or something bad happening to her or when he's the victim in his nightmare it's Aelin who comes and saves him from whatever horrible circumstance he was in and because of her, he wakes up from his nightmare.

Thank you thanK YOU THANK YOU FOR 1K. I never imagined that this blog, a sideblog, would ever reach anything higher than 100 tbh. You guys surprised me and got this blog to 1000 followers (and in a rather short amount of time, may I add). As a result, this celebration is for you.
