Taylor Swift and Post Malone's hug in the Fortnight MV gave me strong "former lovers that are now forever tied together platonically" vibes so I had to make a Doraelin piece based off of it <3 They will always be equals, foils, allies, and friends and I just love that.

As someone who started reading throne of glass in 2017, I really, really want elucien to be endgame. And if this was any other author, I wouldn't have any doubts about elucien being endgame. The only reason I'm worried is because doraelin was also supposed to be endgame in tog, and you can definitely see hints toward it in the first few books. It wasn't until HoF/QoS that stuff was retconned/ignored so that the endgame pairing could be switched.

Again, I'm a MASSIVE elucien shipper, so I'm still holding out. And tbh, I highly doubt sjm would make Lucien suffer that much; he is one of her favorite characters, after all. I mean, the poor guy has been through enough already.

This is not hate toward SJM at all; just pointing out that she's diverged from the original plans for her stories in the past.
