When you remember that Doraelin is the beginning and the ending and Throne of Glass started with Dorian saving Aelin from Endovier and so will the series end with Dorian and Aelin but then again Dorian and Aelin will never end because they are infinite. They're eternity.

Do you feel like Dorian is under appreciated by Aelin and the fandom? I see so much Rowan love in the Queen of Shadows tag and not much Dorian and Chaol or even Aedion. Additionally, I feel like Aelin just never thought of Dorian in the same way he thought of her and I'm not just talking about how he loved her but she didn't love him. I don't know, she just seemed to cast him aside sometimes in QoS.

A number of the fandom appreciates Dorian more than Aelin and same goes with Chaol and Aedion and and another number of the fandom seems to love Rowan and Aelin seems to “love” Rowan more than the three of them and I really think that Dorian and Chaol should get more credit for sticking out for Aelin since book 1 and Aedion since Book 3. The three of them risked and gave up a lot of things for Aelin even if they were not obliged to. These three deserve more love and appreciation.

As for Aelin and Dorian, the thing about Dorian is that he didn’t care about the consequences of loving Aelin as seen in the first book and well Aelin in the first book never really allowed herself to fall for Dorian because if she allowed herself to love Dorian she would never get the freedom she wanted but even if she cast Dorian away, sometimes she would miss him. She said she would come back. She would come back from Wendlyn for him, Dorian. She prayed that Dorian was safe in HoF but in QoS she seemed to cast Dorian aside and “give up” on trying to free him and that was one of Aelin’s flaws in QoS which was why I loved Chaol so much for fighting for Dorian, to keep him safe and perhaps Aelin might have not noticed it but to keep her from doing something incredibly foolish. So yes, Aelin did the push Dorian aside and Im not going to pretend that that didn’t happen and I’m going to hope that some huge major character development is going to happen within the last two books and her behaviour was written to establish the change that is to come. Hopefully Aelin will realize how much Dorian, Chaol and Aedion sacrificed for her.

i’ve been listening to the albums 1989 and badlands a lot lately. my current jams are probably how you get the girl how do people not like that song? and roman holiday, but really i love anything by taylor swift and halsey.
