     Well, at least THAT was over. 

     Lapis had yet to change out of her ‘Bob’ uniform, and had just said      goodbye to Steven, assuring him that she indeed did plan on staying      at the Barn. It would take some getting used to, but she was.. willing to      try to be civil with Peridot. Sighing, the water gem sat herself down on      the floor, pressing her back against the wall, closing her eyes and trying      to relax. Maybe now she could get some rest. She still felt physically      and emotionally drained --- her flight with Steven, followed immediately      by the issues with Peridot and the rubies.. really hadn’t given her the      chance to rest up.

     Still, she could feel that she was being watched, and slowly, Lapis opened      one eye to gaze at the green gem watching her, and tried to not sigh.      Seemed like she wasn’t going to rest JUST yet.

            “What is it, Peridot?”

     Pale lips drew back in anger as her brows pressed in with confusion; if her expression did not give away her current emotion, then blue hands CLENCHED at her side, her physique remained STOLID and unmoving, would. The green gem before her was offering a gift -- most likely one of Steven’s ideas. Was this some type of joke ?

   ‘ what is this, Peridot ? ’ Her words were spoken with a certain coldness to them ; she was not in the mood for GAMES such as this. JASPER had gotten freed -- knowing that gem was furious with her, it put her on edge.

                          so she was free ( FINALLY ) but brought here, to earth, the dry surface---- and jasper was completely paranoid and distrustful. THOUGH--- peridot was a familiar face, so far the only face she could.... ‘ trust ‘.

              that gem that had once been so powerful against her ; once was in charge of her very life , now so short - so . . . weak . her cerulean eyes the size of sand dollars , and her chest feels light - but it soon begins to boil with impartial anger and distrust . she steps forward , furrowing her brows , tightening thin lips . who is in control , now ?

  her eyes burn with a sensation lapis lazuli has known before . her second time she’d escaped imprisonment , & her warden was now no one ; peridot was but a worthless , deserted and ABANDONED gem .

The mind is known to play a few tricks on occasion, given the right time and event to trigger such a thing. The old Peridot model had used a warp pad at another horrid location, events that would follow were best kept locked in the mental archive. All that this gem would remember is washing up on a shore of unknown location, groaning with a face mold in the sand when moving the upper part of the body..upward. A hand started to rub the sand off the head, eyes looking groggy. “W-where the hell did I end up this time?”
