Dorite is a kind of brittle ore composed of spudnium and sodium chloride which, due to its electromagnetic properties, is extremely efficient at holding onto small water-soluble particles.
Through a careful shattering process similar to knapping, large dorite ores can be made into thin flakes that are then processed by coating them in a variety of powders and sold for public use.
Aficionados have described the processed dorite as "gnarly", "a vital necessity of software creation", and "uncannybrutal".
