[OCs] Gonna be posting about these three more often than not so I figured I'd reintroduce them and the world they live in!
They're affectionately in what, I've been calling, the Dork Brigade Universe (those three are the dork brigade). They live in modern day Earth (America somewhere when I figure that out) where aliens and cryptids do in fact exist and are in hiding because humans don't know how to have nice things. Talia "Ty" (she/her) [Korean]: A prodigy ballerina and acrobat who just moved to the neighborhood. And thanks to her father's backdoor dealings for the ballet company he built, now has extra and unwanted ties to, well, criminals. She's not the happiest about it but it pays the bills.
Ace (they/he) [Cuban/Sentient Alien Fire]: Son of a Mafia Don, Co-Owner of a snazzy lounge bar called the Dragon's Den, and community service worker. They get into trouble because they can but they sure do clean up trouble when they have to. Certainly not a fire to be messed with. Note: Wally is the nickname only used by loved ones and thus is only known by loved ones. His real name? Don't worry about it because it's none of your business.
Layla (she/they) [Sentient Alien Electricity]: Layla's lived for a long, long time and has been on the longest tourist vacation of her life. What else can you do when you're incredibly powerful and have lived to see the creation and end of whole planets? You record their histories and explore what else is out there. She stopped on Earth and finds it rather tickling how 'primitive' it is. After finding the cryptids that humans couldn't find, she found herself in a rather... nice albeit peculiar relationship. She decided to stick around to see it through. Note: Don't worry about what's in her sleeves, it's fine probably.
As for these three specifically: Ace is dating both Talia and Layla. Talia thinks Layla's the weirdest creature alive, but they're friends, strained as it is sometimes. Layla honestly is just along for the ride. And that's the intro!
