This took me wwwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy longer than I expected or intended, and I greatly apologize for it. But here is the Daniel Lewek comic I’ve been working on for the last 2 months.

The name of this comic is “The Perfect Choice”. We get a look into the work life of the young artist Daniel Lewek, and the waves he’s making at his job. You could say the young lad’s been so helpful, his ever so kind boss wants to give him a “promotion”.

Hope you enjoy, soon these comics will have a voice over on the other account.

BATIM Arcane AU

what I’ve been rotting my brain over these past few months

It’s more or less BATIM characters in the Arcane setting, but there are some parallels to the shows characters. Sammy is the most obvious, as the Jinx of this world. Allison is like Caitlin. Joey (not pictured) is Silco. Buddy is Ekko. Susie is a mix of Sevika and Silco. Tom is Vi and Jayce. Norman… idk what his deal is he’s kinda like Singed but entirely not. There’s also Ben (names a WIP, the kid with Sammy) who’s based on both Baby Bendy and Isha.

I will post more. I will rant more. Just give me time >:3

my girl dot deserves as much love as buddy, so she gets a place in the puppeteer au too. a very important place.

while Buddy may have talent, he couldn't write a story, even to save his life. he knows this. the cycle needs a story. everyone knows this. unfortunately for Buddy, he's not a writer. thankfully for him, Dot is, and a writer and an artist are a package deal.

Bendy studio crews christmas headcanons?

Doesn't celebrate Christmas and doesn't know what it is: Ink Bendy.

Doesn't celebrate Christmas and doesn't vibe with it:

-Abby (Not a fan of the Christmas parties).

-Thomas ("It's shoved down everyone's throats too much" which is fair).

-Henry (It tends to be a very busy season for him, which makes the Christmas stories about "Christmas being about family and togetherness and peace" feel like bullshit)

-Linda (Holidays don't feel the same without Henry).

-Grant (Would be in 'doesn't mind xmas' category, but he hates hearing "But its Chiiiiiistmaaaaaas" every time he has to say no to something during winter so it ruined the rest of the holiday for him.)

-Johnny (He gets too homesick to enjoy celebrating).

Doesn't celebrate Christmas, but doesn't mind Christmas stuff:

-Jack (enjoys learning about his weird coworkers' traditions and sharing his own holiday traditions.)

-Buddy (free food is free food)

-Allison (Likes the spirit more than the holiday).

Celebrates Christmas, but also has unusual Christmas traditions:

-Wally (Christmas dinner consists only of McDonald Nuggets/fries and that's the only time of year he eats it)

-Sammy (Shows up to work in a horse skull, sings haunting songs in Welsh, steals the Christmas party alcohol when no one sings back. Jack's the only person who engages him in this tradition)

-Norman (Hides a Pickle jar in the workplace, whoever finds it gets a neat little trinket)

-Susie (Puts oranges in the Christmas stockings)

-Bertrum (Made a mini working roller coaster version of the Nativity scene and puts it on his coffee table every Christmas).

Celebrates Christmas normally: Joey, Nathan, Tessa, Dot, Lacie, Shawn, Emma, and Wilson.

Just finished Bendy Fade to Black and I Need to ramble

This might be a bit disjointed but whatever! Forgive me, and correct me if I mess some things up

I really enjoyed Rose actually! I thought she was a little annoying at the start, like Evan actually, but as more of her past got revealed I really started to feel for her! I think she was really well done as a character whose unrelenting optimism was a mask that she keeps up to cope with her dysfunctional little family. I liked her a lot

I also REALLY liked the side characters! I thought Archie was delightful and endearing, and Evan was really compelling! Ollie was my favourite character in the book by far and making such a small child be the main target of Joey’s assholery, and him being semi-aware of it, made it feel all the more evil. I was yelling at Rose for not realising that he was hallucinating like her for like half the book though.

Of course the Bendy novel staples were delightful to see! Joey was fantastic in this book, and I loved the blurring between his perception of reality and the sketch. I think maybe he tried out the glasses a little too much. I was hoping Rose would meet Henry but I understand that wasn’t in the cycle yet. The Allison cameo was wonderful, if a little short. I was pretty disappointed in the absence of Tom though.

Deserving of her own paragraph, I think Dot was a delight to bring back. I really liked her breakdown about Buddy, and it’s really got me thinking about the reactions of the people around other dead Bendy characters! I think it would’ve been really great if Rose had met Buddy in the sketch. I was kind of expecting her to and it was pretty upsetting that she didn’t. I might have to draw something about that.

I was expecting some tropes from other novels to pop up, but it isn’t a bad thing that they didn’t! I was just ready and expecting the classic “Bendy Protagonist Graphically Describes Their Own Death” section, and “One Year Older And More Jaded Companion”, but I guess Rose is unique. Good for her!

I was also expecting more Joey Drew journal passages but maybe the audiobook just cut them out? Someone let me know <3 The first one just felt like set up for a reoccurring section of the book which didn’t happen and I was pretty disappointed.

Overall I had a really fun time with the book, I just think it could’ve been improved. This isn’t all my thoughts obviously but it’s all the ones that’ve spilled forth right now. Maybe I’ll make more posts in future.

Small writing idea for you

Buddy and Dot meeting Snowflake for the first time and the two try to befriend the shy Imp thinking that's it's going to be easy

spoiler alert: It's not as easy as they thought

Buddy had seen Snowflake around the studio, usually in the company of either Wally or Sammy. He'd always kind of wanted to say hello, but had been too anxious to do so. Especially when Snowflake was around Sammy. He was pretty sure Sammy already didn't like him, and he knew Sammy could be very protective of Snowflake when around people he didn't like.

So, Buddy had resigned himself to just never talking to Snowflake.

Until, one day at lunch, Dot slammed her hands on the table and announced, "We're going to befriend that imp."

Buddy nearly dropped his sandwich. "Wh-What?"

"We're going to befriend that imp!" Dot repeated.

"I...Okay?" Buddy slowly put his sandwich down. "But why?"

"Because he deserves some friends," Dot said. "He's always on his own. He deserves to have some people he can hang out with."

"I mean, I feel like he probably has friends outside of the studio..." Buddy said, glancing around to make sure neither Wally nor Sammy were in the breakroom as well. "Wait..." He stopped, frowning. "Can he leave the studio?"

This made Dot stop as well. Neither of them had ever actually seen Snowflake leave the studio. At least not that they could remember.

"All the more reason for us to make friends with him," Dot concluded after a moment of thought. "Plus, he'd probably be good to run story ideas by. After all, who's better to judge ideas for cartoons than a kid?"

Buddy tried not to sigh. It didn't seem like he was going to be able to talk Dot out of this. She seemed pretty set on doing this, and he knew it was near impossible to talk her out of something once she had her mind set. He wondered if this was how Dot got all her friends, by all but adopting introverted people. It was certainly how he'd become friends with her.

"I really think this is a bad idea," he said. "But...Okay. I guess I'll help."

"Thank you, Buddy!" Dot gave him a hug before pulling back, her hands on his shoulders and her eyes bright with determination. "Now, finish your sandwich. We have an imp to befriend."

"Wha-?" Buddy's eyes went wide. "We're starting today?!"

"Yep." Dot nodded, her smile widening. "No time like the present!"

"Don't you think we should wait?" Buddy asked. "Come up with some kind of plan about how to approach him?"

"Nope! We're doing this before you chicken out. Now finish your sandwich."

Somewhat reluctantly, Buddy finished his sandwich and followed Dot out of the break room.

Finding Snowflake didn't turn out to be all that hard. He was in the Heavenly Toys area, sitting on the stairs while Wally and Shawn talked inside the workshop.

"There he is!" Dot whispered as she and Buddy peeked around the corner.

"We should probably take it slow," Buddy began. "We don't want to-"

But he was cut off, as Dot was already speedwalking over.

"Snowflake!" She called, waving to the little demon. "Can I talk to you?"

Snowflake looked abruptly up from the little duck toy he'd been playing with, visibly startled by being addressed. Upon seeing Dot approaching, he got to his feet, looking ready to bolt.

Dot stopped, putting her hands up. "Hey, I don't want to hurt you," she said. "I just want to talk."

She took a step forward. Snowflake took a step back. Dot took another step forward. Snowflake took another step back.

"Buddy...a little help here?" Dot called over her shoulder.

"I'm pretty sure if I come out, it's going to make things worse," Buddy said, shrinking back a bit.

"Please?" Dot begged, flashing him a pleading look.

Buddy couldn't help but sigh, but he did step out into the open all the same.

It was then that Snowflake turned and started running.

"Oh crap- Wait!" Dot scrambled to run after him, with Buddy following behind her.

The three of them sprinted through the workshop and right past where Shawn and Wally were talking. The two men exchanged a look.

"You think that's somethin' I should be worried about?" Wally asked, frowning slightly as he watched the trio disappear down a hallway.

"Eh, it'll be fine." Shawn waved a hand dismissively. "They're just playin'."

Buddy and Dot didn't end up catching Snowflake, but Dot vowed they would try again the next day.

And so began the daily tradition of Dot and Buddy chasing Snowflake through the studio. At first, it seemed like Snowflake was running from them out of fear. But as time passed... It almost seemed as though Snowflake was beginning to regard it as some kind of game. Buddy could have sworn the little demon was starting to look excited whenever he saw them approaching.

More proof to back up this theory was the fact that Sammy hadn't yelled at them to stop chasing Snowflake. Although he seemed less than pleased with the little game, the fact that he wasn't putting a stop to it seemed to indicate to Buddy that Snowflake wasn't bothered by it.

Eventually, he and Dot did manage to catch Snowflake.

"FINALLY!" Dot yelled triumphantly as Buddy grabbed Snowflake and lifted him into the air. "We got him!"

Snowflake giggled, covering his mouth with his gloved hands. "You got me!"

"Now." Dot indicated for Buddy to put Snowflake down. "Will you be our friend? Please?"

Snowflake stared at her for a moment. Then he smiled and nodded. "Mm hm. Playing with you is really fun!"

"Yes!" Dot pumped her fist in the air. "Success!"

"Is that why you were running?" Buddy asked, setting Snowflake on the ground. "Because it was a game to you?"

Snowflake tilted his head to the side, frowning slightly as he looked between Buddy and Dot. "Wasn't it a game? I thought we were playing."

Buddy and Dot exchanged a look.

"I mean, I guess we kind of were," Dot said with a laugh. "I'm glad you had fun at least."

Snowflake immediately perked up at this. "Can we play again tomorrow? I like playing with you."

"Once we're done with our work, sure," Buddy said. He hesitated for a moment, then patted Snowflake on the head.

Snowflake beamed at the confirmation that they would play again, hugging Buddy's leg. He then hugged Dot's leg, likely so she wouldn't feel left out, before running off again.

"I think that was a success," Dot said after a moment, putting her hands on her hips.

Buddy paused for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I think it was."

He hadn't expected that they would succeed at befriending Snowflake, but they'd somehow managed to do so. And he wasn't that mad about the process they'd gone through in order to do it.

"We should probably get back to work now, though," he pointed out. "We've got deadlines."

"Oh yeah, good point." Dot grimaced. "We did burn a lot of time chasing the kid..."

And so, they returned to their workstations, satisfied with the progress they'd made that day.
