Over 10,000 MUJI products were used to create this model of Tokyo
What is it? Creative agency dot by dot, in association with TASKO, has recreated Tokyo’s iconic skyline entirely out of MUJI products, using everything from notebooks and pencil erasers to desktop organizers and paint pots. The installation uses over 10,000 MUJI products and is on display at the Taipei MUJI store until it moves to New York later this month.
It’s good because anybody who has ever used a MUJI product knows that they are designed to very specific, almost architectural specifications. This installation plays on that theme to promote both the origins of the company, as well as the city of Tokyo itself. The overall effect is beautiful.
