Hey guys!

I wanted to get a .tk domain name for my blog and I did so last night using Freenom, but I’ve been trying to link it to Tumblr, and Tumblr repeatedly tells me that the “domain’s a level doesn’t link to Tumblr”, even though I’ve made sure that it does multiple times (and have waited patiently for the changes to take effect with no luck). I also have no idea how I would go about contacting customer service at Freenom lol

If anyone knows what I can do to get my domain to link to Tumblr, that would be amazing and I would be forever grateful! I have tried for hours and hours trying to get this damn thing to work.

For the A level, I have 66.6.44.4 as the target and my target for CNAME is domains.tumblr.com

my domain was working earlier but i just checked it again and it's not working now? freenom wont let me manage the dns and says "zone is not active yet", as if i didnt set the nameserver to my blog (which its still set to). is anybody able to help on this?

ok, so... i did not know this, but apparently freenom fucking deletes your free domain once you hit a certain pagerank or something so they can try to sell your url back to you for $10. which, i guess i must have hit whatever the threshold is because yep, they deleted my domain and redirected it to malware. THANKS. anyway so i’m back to torakoneko.tumblr.com for the time being until i decide on a new tld, since i’ve had other issues with .tk anyway. sorry to anyone who got redirected to the ads. -_-

hey guys, do not go on any dot.tk domains right now. i tried to go on one and it redirected me to a virus page and it wouldn’t let me close out of it and i’m typing this on a different computer because mine won’t load (i restarted it).
