Possible Changes to Getting Dota 2 Fit™
So having resumed “Getting Dota 2 Fit” besides being sore I have noticed that some boredom has crept in from fatigue of doing the same ol’ workouts everytime.
In addition to this fatigue there is also the fact that even in the trenches of dota most games have courier/wards. This is especially true now thanks to the way wards stack in inventory slots and you can buy a single observer ward now instead of buying them in pairs.
I think lunges are a great workout and considering they are only one of two leg workouts in the original plan they should stay. But the event that triggers them needs to change, otherwise I will never do a lunge again in my dota life.
Five carry team is another that may be due for a change at this point as well. Dips are good and in keeping with an equipment-less workout fit in perfectly.
Yet again, unless I’m playing Dota after Midnight (Which you should never, ever do) I haven’t come across this much in my 2 and a half months of doing this workout.
My initial thoughts are to incorporate the challenges from the TI5 compendium into this but I haven’t yet figured out how or what the workout would be.
On the other side of things; “report XXX” is by far (yes even more than losing a game, ha ha) the most triggered workout.
Seriously it’s not even close. I’ve done so many goddamn leg raises my lower abs might be the strongest part of my body at this very moment. It really speaks to the community that this one would be the most proc’d workout. I know dota 2 does some weird things to people’s minds where they think they can say or do anything but holy shit people are just awful sometimes.
I’m going to continue to rework and experiment with the workout and hopefully V2.0 should be ready to go sometime soon-ish.
Until then I have some more leg raises to do.
