canon disabilities... definitely asthma. probably some sort of social anxiety disorder, too. i wouldn't be surprised if i had some sort of eating disorder at some point, considering i didn't eat for a while. and autism that affected my fine motor skills.

i'm not particularly interested in seeking out people i knew, but whenever i come across someone from the mainline pokemon games that i was close with like iono or penny, or someone i just tangentially knew like larry.. i can't help but feel this weird sense of dissonance. to me, iono and penny are close friends. but to them, there's the chance that they might not have even known a version of me at all. the fact that there may be worlds out there that have versions of people i knew, but not myself, is just.. really terrifying to me.

it's a weird feeling, being older in-system than you are in-source. then your source does a timeskip that brings your canon design a lot closer to how you look in-system. post-timeskip, my canon age is probably at around the midpoint between canon pre-timeskip and my actual in-system age, and the new design honestly does feel like an in-between of how i used to look in-source and how i look here and now. the feeling that my personal life and memories are being constantly peered into that's been burning in the background since i got here is a lot stronger again... it *is* kind of validating at the same time, but the uncanniness is really outweighing it right now.

(for the ask game)
In canon, my pronouns were she/her, as was the case with the vast majority of gems from my home planet. However, I, as "Peri", feel no particular attachment to the pronouns, and prefer to use they/it. Interestingly, I have found that a considerable portion of the fandom tends to headcanon me as nonbinary - a curious coincidence indeed.
My more excitable counterpart, Dot, seems to not mind the pronouns used on it, though I have observed a preference for it/its.
