[AD] B O N A P P E T I T E 🥘 Over the weekend I had my ‘weekend off’ from the @musclefooduk #dotheunthinkable challenge and whilst I wouldn’t say I over indulged - I certainly ate ALL the Doritos and made sure that the bottle of wine I had in disappeared!⠀ ⠀ However, sure enough my IBS has made a return - last night I was bloated, sore and uncomfortable • I can’t help but think that my body genuinely prefers good, wholesome meals that are veg based and not processed.⠀ ⠀ Although these photos were taken purely for ‘the gram’ I took them to show you how much more glowing my skin is thanks to a balanced diet and how much I am genuinely enjoying my meals (scroll for the nom).⠀ ⠀ So I guess this is a post of appreciation for real food - food that isn’t pumped full of chemicals or over processed, food that is grown locally and balanced • Here’s to you my friend!⠀ ⠀ #IBSwarrior #RealLifeandStyle #myselflovestyle⠀ (at West Yorkshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByzNgENBUyk/?igshid=s0e9xxnblj7v

[AD] V A R I E T Y ❓ OK I know I’m only three days in to this #dotheunthinkable challenge with @musclefoodUK BUT here are a few things I’ve learnt so far...⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ Variety is the spice of life - my meals have been far more varied than usual ... this Chinese Pork Stir Fry is something I would never thing to make myself but it was rather delish!⠀ 2️⃣ You can eat a lot - I honestly felt as though I spent the first few days doing nothing but eating but I haven’t been binging ... eating little and often has helped massively with my portion sizes and my body has responded well to it!⠀ 3️⃣ Food = Fuel = Energy - OK so this isn’t a revelation but eating well makes you so much more energetic ... I’ve managed two decent runs this week and two awesome upper body sessions in the gym without any preworkout or Jelly Babies as the food I’ve been eating has made me feel that good!⠀ 4️⃣ You are what you eat - when my diet is unbalanced or chaotic my IBS responds with a big old flare up ... although I definitely had something that my body didn’t like yesterday, it didn’t flare up as it would normally and it has already passed which is amazing!⠀ ⠀ If you’ve made it this far hurrah 🙌🏼 I’m off to do my first ParkRun in months BUT tell me what the biggest lesson you have learnt about food 👇🏼⠀ ⠀ #myselflovestyle #discoverunder3k #reallifeandstyle #getshreddyforsummer ⠀ (at West Yorkshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByuMH91BwFW/?igshid=1lo27cfkficu0

[AD] U N T H I N K A B L E 🏋🏼‍♀️ I’ve finally realised that ‘beach body ready’ is a mindset, not a size • I’m no ashamed to have aesthetic goals and to be driven by them ...
