Teoria Universale
Nel cuore...dal cuore... verso l'universo ...verso l'infinito per poi tornare al centro... E ricominciare il flusso. ..impermanenza...Siamo questo e quando lo capiamo, tutto è già più semplice tutto fluisce.
Storyboard for dot
Decided to change the project a bit, it still has the sense of fear but this time seems to be clearer ( This opinion it’s based, and based only, in my opinion)
There’s still space for improvement but I will leave that for later and only if necessary!
It’s incredible how deciving the act of animating can be. I started the dot project without giving much thought to it. I finilized my idea and when I render it... guess what? 5 seconds!
It’s always the same.
Just for the crit I had to complete the other 5 seconds in a diferent program, considering that I am banned in Kit hub and there for can not rent the tv paint dongle. ( Peace of advice, don’t let yourself be banned by the end of the year because it’s transferable to the next one!)
I belive I will be forgiven for any english gramatic mistakes since it’s my third language... just saying ;)
Dot Project
Reflection:
I enjoyed working on this project. I used photoshop and felt that this helped to increase my knowledge of the program. I wanted the dot to show the emotion of anxiety and then excitement as I feel that these two emotions can be easily connected to one other. I Also wanted to animate the water as a ‘wave of emotions’. However I feel that the last bit of animation where the ball gets moved down with the water feels too quick and needs maybe some back and forth movement. I like the texture I added to the water as it adds a gradient too the water and I feel it makes the red dot stand to more compared to a solid colour.
For our first animation of the year, our task was to show emotion through a dot. Because the length of the animation was meant to be 10 seconds and the ‘character’ was a simple dot, making a storyboard or character design wasn’t needed for this project. I started to work directly on photoshop using the skills we learnt from first year, the bouncing ball, as a majority of a base ‘emotion’. I also played around with how the animation ends.
