Advent Drabble - Gimli

Prompt: They calm you by a petname for the first time.

A groan left you as you moved to sit up a little too quickly, the gash in your side sending a sharp feeling of pain through your body. One of the infirmaries' nurses quickly came to your aid, adjusting your pillow for you as you took a deep breath in your new position. "Givashel!" You would not have paid any attention to the word if it were not for the very recognisable and booming voice that came with it, your head snapping to where Gimli now rushed into the room, his frantic eyes searching for you. There was no calming him down as he scrambled to your side, grabbing your hand in his and looking you over. For a second, you thought you saw a tear escaping his eye, but you were sure your mind was playing tricks on you; but that was not what mattered now. You needed to know if your ears had just deceived you or not. You placed your hand on the male's cheek, gaining his attention. "Can you call me that again?" You saw his eyes blow even wider as he realised what name he had used for you. However, he did not hesitate. "Givashel."

You can hear the amusement in Roy's voice just behind you; he's got you half in his lap in a rear naked choke, tattooed arm pressing into your throat just enough to restrict you to shallow little breaths.

Jason is hard at work between your thighs, licking his way into your center while rolling your clit between wet fingers. Strangled whines and whimpers spill out your mouth as you try to pull away - after four orgasms, every nerve in your pelvis feels raw and exposed - but there's nowhere to go, with Arsenal at your back. You tap his arm and the redhead loosens the hold, letting you gulp down fresh air. The brunette pauses to catch his own breath, sucking your juices off his fingers and meeting your gaze with enough heat to have you throbbing at the edge all over again, shuddering.

i. It had been an insanely long, strange night. Doppelgangers and bombs and their home invaded once more. 

But the bad guys had been dispatched and in the golden heat of a California morning, everything looked marvelous once again.

Especially his beautiful wife and her wide, appreciative grin. 

The emeralds sparkled in that rich, gilded sunlight but not as much as Jennifer.

She launched herself into Jonathan’s arms and he caught her up, burying his face in the voluminous ruffles as he spun her around.

They were safe, they were alive, they were together.

Everything looked marvelous - was marvelous - once again. 

ii. Jonathan found her in their bed, the duvet carefully folded back. 

She was propped on the pillows, her long legs crossed demurely as she waited for him.

But that was as far as “demure” went on her, for there was nothing but acres of pale skin and the flash of diamonds and emeralds around her neck. 

“It was awfully nice of someone to buy them as a gift for someone.” She said, her tone even huskier than normal. 

“Awfully nice.” Jonathan responded, watching the way the diamonds shifted against the swell of her breasts.

They were safe, alive, and together.
