Tuesday work
Double sessions today! As long as I'm up early they're actually surprisingly easy to fit in :) now just need to make sure I'm awake enough in between to do uni work.
AM: Steady state on the Cross-trainer at resistance level 9 for 30 mins and 5x5 press-ups (nose to the ground)
PM: Track session
(1x500m; 3x300m) x 2
Both were good sessions - was really tired/sore in the morning, still getting used to being up before dawn and Monday's squats were taking their toll. The track session in the eve was at a pretty good pace, I'll add another set next time I do that particular session, but didn't want to overdo it. The main thing I want to try to do for the next couple of weeks is get into good habits, being able to train around schoolwork so that when coursework/projects get more demanding my fitness doesn't suffer too badly :)
(PS - writing this at 10am on Weds morning, woke up at 9. Definitely needed an early night, which I didn't have - met up with my roomies from freshman year AFTER my track session at like 9.30. Still, learning curve AND it was great to see them)
