Back training today, a week and a half of serious rehabbing and I'm back on it :) less than happy about getting blackout drunk halfway through that week, as that's really not who I am any more. Like, there's blowing off steam because you're frustrated and then there's making yourself ill, I was vomiting until about 11pm the next day. Grim.
Anyway, onwards and upwards, I've spent a few days really thinking about where I am and where I want to be, and the fact that I was so angry at myself for putting my body through that has just made me more determined to get back into the swing of things and enjoy what I do :)

Squats 5x5 at 50/55/60/70/75kg
10 x 10 burpees with different variations to keep it interesting
Series of plank challenges with my friend - 1 minute most of the time, we did straight and side plank a few times.
Just focused on getting back into exercising and enjoying it.
Fell asleep for 2 and a half hours this afternoon - combination of not being able to sleep last night and my body in shock from actually having to work hard!

Lots of balance and change of direction drills
12 x 30s sprint w/30s recovery - this was hellish but I kept an alright pace. Was originally quite worried about running but my foot was absolutely fine, it was the heart and lungs that hurt...

Am now showered, in my PJs and beautifully sore. Time to get some good uni work done and get a solid night's sleep!
