So the last time Doug kissed someone was a week ago. Raphael uploaded their truth or dare video a week ago, where they refused to kiss...I bet the did. I'm on to you two.
“Hello everyone. Today is a very special day. Because my British friends are coming! I literally just woke up. It’s about 10:30 and I’m gonna hurry up, make my morning smoothie, then head to the airport to pick up Jim, Tanya, Zoe, and Doug. So see you guys then”
Joey had woken up to the text message of an excited, yet tired Tanya Burr telling him that the group has arrived in L.A. He texted back instantly that he would be there soon. He hopped out of bed faster than he ever has before, hurried downstairs, and got his ingredients to make his usual morning smoothie. He was too excited not to start the vlog before he even got dressed. After Joey finished his short introductory clip for the day’s vlog, he started his smoothie. While it was blending, he hurried back upstairs to change into something other than his underwear, which he was sure all his subscribers had seen in the clip, but was to preoccupied to care. He got dressed, did his hair extra nice, and packed up his camera, phone and car keys while gulping his smoothie as he left out the door. He was very eager to see what the day, and even the night, had in store for him and his friends from across the pond.
Joey arrived at the airport. He was a little irritated because of the traffic, but still had a big cheesy grin on his face. He spotted the group right away and pulled over. Joey opened the trunk and got out to greet them with tight hugs and I missed you’s. Tanya, Jim, and Doug got in the back, while Zoe had already called shotgun and was in the passenger seat buckling her seatbelt.
“I’m so glad you guys are back!” Joey exclaimed
“Me too! It’s been way too long” Zoe said
Joey drove out of the airport and asked if anyone was hungry. They all said yes, so Joey decided to take them to Mendocino Farms for lunch. They arrived and ordered their food. Joey, as always, sat at the seat that made it look like he was laying in the grass, with Doug sitting next to him, Tanya and Jim across from them, and Zoe to the side of both pairs. The day was getting off to a great start and was bound to get better.
Joey and the Brits had been hanging out all day together. It was now about 6:00 and the Brits were really tired from the flight. Joey took them to their hotel and decided to help them with their bags and go along with them as they checked in and went up to their rooms. Jim and Tanya got their room keys and headed up to get some sleep. Doug and Zoe, who were supposed to be sharing a room were having trouble checking in. The hotel apparently screwed something up and their room wasn’t reserved for them. They didn’t know what to do, and didn’t want to waste any more money on a hotel that likes to mess up very important information. Joey decided that he would let them both stay at him and Sawyer’s house, since Sawyer was in Brazil for a film project. Zoe and Doug agreed to the stay at Joey’s house and got their bags. The 3 got back in Joey’s car and headed to his house. Zoe called Jim to see if they made it to their room alright and wished them a goodnight. Doug had taken the passenger seat this time, and Zoe was spread out in the back resting her eyes a bit. They were all 3 talking, Zoe sounding half-asleep, because she was, and Doug very low and mumbled because of his exhaustion. Joey looked in the rear view mirror and saw that Zoe was in full slumber. He looked to his right and seen that Doug was sleeping too, with his head against the cracked open window and light breathing. Joey couldn’t help but smile and keep driving. He knew that this was going to be an interesting trip for both him and the Brits.
