Why I love @dougbeyemtg ’s stuff. Rashmi looking like she wants to hit Tezzeret with the Thopter. Ajani calling Chandra ‘little candle’ (I love that one). And, a Gideon/Liliana spat that was fantastic. And I’ve barely started the article. :)

From Serra's Realm I stab at thee
To the glorious guardian of all Vorthoses
As a planeswalker from the olden days of Serra and Urza, I simply can't support the current state of legendary rule affairs. It is nothing short of absurd, seeing both players field the same legend simultaneously.
I understand that you've had to adapt it for gameplay reasons, but frankly, it's a flavour failure. There are no true legends in the game anymore, since players are maindecking multiple copies of legendary cards and planeswalkers alike. Because they are wincons.
You could rather scrap the legendary rule altogether, and once development has found some actual ground, some real motivation for a functional legendary game mechanic, please add that instead. The legends in play today are awesome, but they are not one of a kind, they are not unique on the battlefield or in the way they affect gameplay.
Kindly,
/ Flavomancer Theo Axensköld
While discussing Jace's Origin story and on discussing him being over Liliana...
Me: and as for people who ship Lili with Jace still
Me: I acknowledge that it was once canon
Me: I do not and will not ever ship them
Me: I can't
Me: she was an abusive, controlling bitch
Friend: It's like inverse Twilight
Me: O_O
Me: YES!!!
Friend: It's just the girl is the centuries old controlling terrible person
I just want to let the entire Magic Creative Team know that I will not rest until I see Elspeth fighting Eldrazi in the canon story
taisgur necklace
I was wondering, considering that the Sultai were and the silumgar brood are masters of necromancy, if it is possible that taisgur on silumgars necklace is actually "alive" aka zombie
Why does Silumgar's new flavor text refer to them with his??? I thought all the dragonlords were female????
Silumgar confirmed for genderfluid?
