Tsculptor and Kingfisher were a young lovers fling, really they were more platonic soulmates than anything. The Sculptor found desperate solace in Dougen after losing his arm and his lord and their relationship bordered unhealthy. His truest love he cannot forget is Isshin and losing his closeness with Isshin is one of his greatest regrets.
The Sculptor has a soft spot for children. Emma is not the first child he’s saved, but she is the one who stayed in touch the longest; the others were adopted in various villages throughout Ashina while she went with Dougen.

Please give headcannons on which one of the Awakusu-kai believes in ghosts and is superstitious. (Again for a plot idea I have.)
Believes in ghosts:
Dougen (in a rational way though)
Mikiya (a little more on the superstitious side)
Shiki (given that he’s seen some supernatural shit)
Akabayashi (GIVEN THAT HE’S SEEN QUITE SOME SUPERNATURAL SHIT)
Doesn’t believe in ghosts:
Aozaki (he wouldn’t count it out 100%, but thinks there’s other explanations)
Kazamoto
