Dougie Mann as Peter Pan
Well, there was enough interest about this photo I figured I would put up the whole sequence and talk about what's going on here.
This is called backdooring the peak. At this point in time, Dougie has decided he will take this wave for all the chicks on the beach. You're never going to make this section but you're just frothing for an EPIC barrel and photo. **SPOILER ALERT: Mission accomplished.**
Dougie's Brain: "Wait a second...I might make these wave if I just angle super hard to left. I've watched a lot of bodysurfing videos. I'm pretty sure I've got this. My wife will be so proud of me! #I'mdoingitmommy!
Dougie's Brain: Ok. This isn't going quite the way I've planned. I'm starting to lift out of the water, but I'm just going to keep my eye on the prize. As Mild Bill would say "I got this!"

Look at me, way up high. Watch me now, I can fly. I'm flyyyyying!!! It should also be noticed that although Dougie is in fact mid flight, he is maintaining a perfect bodysurfing layout and chicken wing.
Caaaannnoooonnnnballllll!!! If this were a dive team competition, everyone would be screaming "Nailed it!" A perfectly executed dive.
What an epic go out. Peter Pan colored Turbos couldn't have been a better suit to wear on that day. Way to kill it Dougie. Horn Hocked. Police notified.
