HE DID IT! My God, he did it! What a fairytale. I’m in tears. Sole Power, Ireland’s sole contender for the night, won the Al Quoz Sprint and gave jockey Richard Hughes, who is ritiring later in the year, his first Dubai World Cup night winner - in his final Dubai ride. It was Sole Power’s FIFTH consecutive run in the Al Quoz Sprint, and he finaly won. 28 March 2015.

Favoured Japan-based Peniaphobia and Douglas Whyte (yellow silks) finished second, Green Mask and Frankie Dettori (green/white silks) third, the favourite’s stable companion and last year’s winner Amber Sky and Ryan Moore (red/white/blue cap) fourth. Full result here.
