I decided to try out Influenster.com since I am poor and opinionated. Basically, its a site where you are sent free products for testing purposes. After testing, you are then supposed to review the product! Which to me, makes the free product absolutely worth it.
I just received my first product in the mail, and it is the Dove 48-hour protection deodorant (available at Walmart.) First of all: this shit smells absolutely amazing. I kid you not, this deodorant smells like coconut lotion. But I digress.
I was really skeptical about the whole “48-hour” thing, especially since I live in Hawaii where it is 95 degrees all day long.
After showering, I put on the deodorant. It smelled amazing and seemed to continue to smell that way for a long time. However, I will say that I showered after 24 hours so I do believe that some of the effectiveness wore off, because for the second 24 hours, I ended up applying more.
Overall, this product is one that I would recommend for a couple of different reasons. First of all, it is effective as a 24 hour deodorant. Secondly, as I said before, it smells so good.
