Dove Dry Shampoo Review

So I got the new Dove Dry Shampoo for free to review from @influenster.  I’ve had it for a few weeks now so I’ve had plenty of chances to try it out.  I use dry shampoo frequently and have tried MANY different kinds.  For me, the Dove dry shampoo was just okay.  It didn’t do nearly as well as some of my favorites (Batiste and Amika) at getting rid of the greasy look and not making my hair feel heavy.  It also leaves a bit of a white residue behind.  In all, it is a pretty decent dry shampoo, but I probably won’t buy it once this bottle is out because I already have so many other dry shampoos I love

Nothing truly tests a new deodorant quite like an 8 hour kayaking trip!  At the end of the day I was still feeling fresh and fabulous! I received the deodorant for free to test from influenster

Dove Advanced Care Voxbox

So I received the Dove Advanced Care 48 hour deodorant for free from Influenster to try out.  I am typically pretty picky about my deodorants and I have been VERY impressed so far.  It lasts all day with no need to reapply.  After a long workday I still felt fresh.  And even better, after a long day out in the sun I still wasn’t stinky or pitting out.  I truly put it to the test with a 48 hour music festival this past weekend.  Two days of an outdoor festival with temps in the 90s!  Each night after spending ALL DAY out in the sun I still felt fresh and couldn’t smell body odor and wasn’t overly sweating from my pits.  AMAZING!  I will definitely buy this deodorant again.

Temptations Snacky Mouse cat toy!

So I received my first VoxBox from Influenster a few weeks ago and I am finally getting around to writing my review.  I was pretty excited to receive my free cat toy and cat treats and was surprised when it arrived in a super cute Temptations box.  

The box included the toy, a full size bag of Temptations cat treats, and a smaller bag of a miniature version of their cat treats that fit inside of the Snacky Mouse toy.  So I opened up the small bag, took out a small handful, and filled up the toy.

Now was the true test... Finding out if D’lilah would actually play with it.  I set the toy filled with the treats in front of her.  She came up to it, sniffed it a few times, batted at it once, and she was over it.  I had a feeling this would happen because she’s never been a big fan of most cat toys.  She’ll usually only play with cat toys if they’ve got feathers on them.  I’ve tried to get her to play with it more than once but it never gets more than a few sniffs before she walks off unimpressed. 

But on the bright side, she does really enjoy the treats!  I was surprised by this because she is really picky when it comes to cat treats.  She enjoys the crunchy Temptations treats.  So they have become her go-to treats!  I will definitely be buying more of the Temptations treats in the future.

So in the end I’d rate the Temptations box overall a c+.  My cat didn’t enjoy the toy, but she sure does love the Treats!
