So, like, am I the only one who liked Season 2? Because they did an excellent job. The outfits were much better than season 1. I liked the story, the pairings, the depth of the characters that didn´t have much going for them in season 1, I liked the little twist of who the enemies were, the new characters...
we don't talk enough about how perfect the casting of Neil Offerman was for the American Politician in GO1. Or John Hamm as Gabriel. They're the only Americans we really see (besides Harriet and Warlock), and they're just the worst. Thaddeus is a bad father, Harriet is [probably] not a great mom, as a result Warlock is kind of a shitty kid, and Gabriel is so ineffably infuriating. (Shocked the Metatron didn't have an American accent tbh, but I will say, no one else but Derek Jacobi could've pulled off the entire Final Fifteen manipulation)
EXCEPT - God! She has an American accent...curious as to if this has Meaning to the story, or if it just means that the perfect actor happened to be an American. Obsessed with the implication of the former, and in love with either.
As an American, Neil Gaiman is absolutely correct that we just embody corporate corruption and evil in a way that is so consistently and accurately portrayed.

Part 2
Y/n and Sky, a fairy and specialist. Betrothed to be married in a year, the 'couple' everyone wants to be. The expectant parents of a newborn in a little under a month. Both in their second year of Alfea.
Sky stood talking to one of his mates, waiting for y/n who was talking with Headmistress Dowling on arrangements for their education after the birth of their son/daughter. Both were planning on taking time away from their classes to care for their newborn, whose gender they decided to keep a surprise.
"I don't know how much longer I can do this for." He smiled as he heard y/n groan in tiredness.
"Not much longer my love." He said as he turned to face her, "Just think of our little bundle in our arms after this. It'll all be worth it." He said as he placed his hands gently on her face.
"And I can't wait to see him or her." Y/n smiled placing her hands on his waist.
"I love you." He smiled.
"I love you too." She smiled before he pulled her into a light kiss.
"Come on, let's go to our room so you can rest." He smiled, taking her hand before lightly kissing her ring as they walked, something he had done regularly since he had given it to her, his mothers.
Y/n caressed her swollen stomach gently as the couple walked through the crowds of students, avoiding the crowds where possible. Looking around at all the first years, she smiled, remembering what her first year was like.
"Do you remember our first year?" She asked Sky, who looked down at her with the smile she loved.
"Yeah, like it was last year." He replied jokingly causing y/n to laugh lightly.
"It was so daunting to join such a big school where so many amazing fairies and specialists came from." Y/n stated, bringing Skys arm over her shoulder.
"We had each other." he stated as he moved his arm to around her waist, placing his hand on her bump, causing y/n to smile as she felt him move his thumb gently.
"She looks lost." Y/n said, nodding to a red head who was looking around and at her phone.
Sky looked up and seen the first year y/n was indicating to. Looking down at y/n, he removed his arm from around her waist and grabbed her hand as he walked towards the red head.
"Wow, you are so lost. I am impressed with your confidence in the face of complete ignorance. Issue is, your over-committed. I mean your essentially running. And now that I'm here, you can't give me the satisfaction of tuning around." Sky started before y/n elbowed him in the stomach.
"Sky." Y/n warned him, causing him to look down to see her giving him the look.
"I don't need your help, but thanks." the young fairy smiled at him before looking at y/n who smiled at her.
"I don't remember offering." Sky teased as he brought y/n in front of him, resting his head on her neck and placing his hands on her stomach, smiling slightly when he felt a kick.
"Saying hello to daddy." Y/n muttered to Sky as she placed her hands over his.
Sky smiled before standing up straight but not moving his hands.
"So presumptuous, you must be a fairy." Sky stated to the young girl in front of them.
"I am a fairy." Bloom said quickly in an offensive way as she came out of the shock of seeing two, clearly in love teenagers, caressing a clearly pregnant bump, "Sorry thats something I never thought I would say."
"It's an odd thing, considering your standing in a courtyard of a college for fairies." Y/n stated, smiling softly at the confused girl
"We don't have a lot of those where I'm from."
"And what Realm are you from?"
"California." Bloom replied causing y/n to now be the confused one.
"Oh your not from the other world?" Sky asked, rubbing y/ns stomach a little causing her to smile.
"I'm not. Three months ago I didn't even know this otherworld existed." Bloom shrugged, watching the two caress y/ns very swollen stomach, seeing a ring on her ring finger.
"Um, if you are lost, this is specialist hall, the fairy hall, which is where you will be staying, is that way." Y/n said, pointing both directions as he said them, moving away from Sky to help the young girl.
"Right, because I definitely know what a Specialist is." Bloom stated sarcastically.
"Right, sorry. I'd be happy to..........."
"Mansplain it?" Bloom asked, interrupting Sky, causing y/n to giggle.
"No." Sky said, pointing at y/n in mock warning.
"Sure. Kinda seems like your thing."
"It definitely is his thing." Y/n nodded, trying to avoid giggling.
"Really love?" Sky asked in fake annoyance.
"Love?" Bloom asking in confusion causing the couple to turn to face her.
"Sorry?" Y/n asked, unsure of what she meant.
"Oh no sorry, just, the ring, the bump, are you guys.............."
"Together?" Y/n asked interrupting Bloom, "Yes. We're betrothed to each other." She said as she smiled at Sky who took her hand and kissed her ring.
"Betrothed?" Bloom asked in confusion.
"It's something some fairies do for family. I got lucky to have the one I truly love." Sky smiled down at y/n, causing her to blush.
"Isn't that illegal, I mean you guys are students?"
"Not if consensual." Y/n smiled at the young girl while Sky frowned, put his arm around y/n as he moved her closer.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend I just..........."
"It's okay. Your new to this world, you'll get used to it." Y/n assured her, looking up at Sky before squeezing his hand gently.
"Yeah." Bloom muttered, looking down in embarrassment.
"Hey we should go, get you to our room to rest. You've been on your feet for a long time." Sky said, looking down at y/n at the end.
"Yeah, that sounds nice." She smiled at Sky before turning to Bloom, causing Sky to kiss her cheek instead of her lips. "Enjoy Alfea, you'll settle in quickly and feel free to ask me anything if you need to."
"Thanks." Bloom smiled awkwardly before leaving the couple to head to their room.
Young Farah killing it with a knive and some mind magic in training! Figured she would’ve been muscly from all the intensive training ^^ (also, I may have a type____)
how are you feeling? a bit rough but i’ll survive. well, you drew on a great deal of magic last night... you’ve been incredible to me. you found me when i was lost, brought me to a safe place, gave me guidance, you surrounded me with amazing people! can we hug?
I might have been a bit bored and had the ‘Eve Best/ Farah Dowling hair fandom’ in my mind when I wrote this. I have no idea where it’s going to go but oh well...
"I can't believe that. I get that Alfea is crazy but even this is a stretch guys."
"Nope. It's completely true."
"But how can that be something that just ends up as... well... I don't know what to call it?"
"Oh trust me, it's a thing."
"Yeah, auntie Farah used to complain about it every year."
"Silva and dad used to make bets as to who would be the first to try."
"Even my mother in all her stuck up glory knows about it, apparently it's been happening since they were seniors in school."
"I heard some of the other water fairies talking about it, word is, first person to manage it is going to get some sort of immunity from the rest of the students."
"It died down a bit the last few years but since Rosalind everyone needs a pick me up. From the feelings going around, it's going to be intense."
"It's just so weird. First person to touch Dowling's hair get any bottle of booze that they want, and first person to get her to literally let down her hair wins the immunity."
"Yup."
"She's going to be so mad."
"Imagine all the entertainment we gain from watching those who fail."
"I'll invite you to help me with the all the filing this year."
