“King Cry Baby” 2014 Self-Portrait taken w da help of my bestie @buff_daddy69 My #SADBOY dj project was created in 2014 after I got dumped n was sad/uninspired by my life in the Bay Area. I wanted another outlet aside from photography to release my emotions and amor into. I really missed mixing tracks tambien and swallowed my DJ pride and downloaded Virtual DJ. I only played vinyl in the past (happy hardcore/drum & bass) so it was hard for me to get off my DJ high horse LOLLLL Also my inspiration for the tear was inspired by the movie #crybaby by #johnwaters (I’m a huge fan). I rock it for all the past loves I’ve had to say goodbye too and as a reminder of my PTSD/Depression I live with. Why would I want to remember that? Because I never want to forget those LOWS because they’ve helped shape who I am today and are part of mi estoria. If you think I rock it to try and go for da “cholo” aesthetic you got me fucked up..Just because I’m brown and masc passing (sometimes) does not mean you can pigeon hole me into all those templates/stereotypes that have been imbedded into your cabeza!
