the cards are really insane to me bc like. there are about 2.5 MILLION different combinations of five cards when pulling from the deck at random. that doesn’t even factor in the specific order in which the cards were placed. it was on purpose, your honor!!! eddie is IN THE CARDS!!!
and when i start to get buddie baited from any and all bts that comes out? don’t save me i’m right where i want to be🙂↕️
just saw a buddie x tarlos edit that opened with the scene of tk telling buck he has a bf promptly followed by eddie coming in right as tk leaves and. the concept of eddie slotting in to replace a man who just “rejected” buck and suggested he was into men before he was out… right, right…

as a lot of people have said, i am… whelmed. so many times this ep i was saying “okay but eddie is still BLEEDING OUT?? why aren’t we checking on him???” like the whole team reuniting was great but the fact that eddie wasn’t part of it feels like we went down the same road of eddie getting sidelined yet again :/ bc what was the point of him getting stabbed if he’s not gonna have any moments of reflection in the elevator, we barely see the team save him, and he’s fine and healed in a few days. and then they tack on a scene with buck at his bedside but turn it into an affirmation for buck wanting to take theo in. and then the end of the episode felt like “oh yeah the migrants!”
IDK i was on the edge of my seat the whole time (lowkey thought they might kill ravi for a sec there) and i DID enjoy myself for the most part. and i truly went into the finale pretty sure we wouldn’t get buddie movement, but i was hopeful for eddie movement and it just. was not there.
feel like i should end on positives though bc i AM happy with a lot of the setup for s10! nursing student may!!! detective athena grant!!! MAYRAVI STRONG!!! and damnit i’m here for the theo storyline, it’s too cute for me to be bothered by logistics. it was nice to see hen and chim as partners again too! and elijah really did his big one, i’m proud of him for really stepping up this season!
overall, do i feel baited? maybe a little! but honestly the fun lies in the theories and speculations and fics, and in all the buddiemaxxers i get to interact with and go crazy mode with <3
