ok so the lyric "a kitchen sink to u is not a kitchen sink to me" is one that i really love, bc of the phrase "everything but the kitchen sink" and that's pretty much what the phrase means in the song, only the kitchen sink represents Tyler's fears and the fears of whoever is listening. wherever we go in life, our fears follow us. we can always leave everything behind but our fears, or our kitchen sink, if u will, follow us. we leave everything but the kitchen sink and this is where a kitchen sink to u is not a kitchen sink to me. bc the sink represents what we're afraid of, a kitchen sink to u isn't the same as a kitchen sink to me or tyler, bc we all have different fears.
