#tbt Edgesfest Summer 2008 when I saw Chester and Linkin Park rock out despite rain and other delays. Chester said he was excited, as a fan, to be playing on the same stage as Stone Temple Pilots (a band he later fronted for some time). . . For the second time this summer, I'm feeling so devastated by the passing of someone who I don't know personally. But Chester has been a part of my life for over 15 years. Linkin Park was the soundtrack of my teen years and the group cannot be the same without any of its members. Throughout the years, Chester was often the mouthpiece of my angst but also a voice of hope and strength. His voice and music (including Non-Linkin Park albums, songs, and features) have seen me through many a rough time. May he rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers with his loved ones and fellow fans. . .
