44mm vs integrated tapered steerers, thoughts and weights.

I often get asked about the differences between 44mm headtubes and the columbus or Deda tapered integrated steerers. Here’s some weights I’ve added a cut piece of tapered steerer to subtract from the uncut steerer, it evens out the size.

A 44mm headtubes is less than 50 grams lighter. I do think depending on tubing sizes it can be more or less proportioned, with 42mm or 44mm downtubes I think…
