Doyden - Lundy Bay
Checked out of the castle but left the car at Doyden House and did the short walk to Lundy Bay. A quick dip in the sea and then headed back to the car for the drive up to the Lake District.

Boscastle - Penally Hill -Beeny
Walk got off to a good start with a pasty sat overlooking the harbour. Up at Penally Point we met a lady with a dog (see next post). After a few miles K popped in to a Farm tea-room and I was rewarded with an ice-cream. I then also managed a small wagon wheel later on.

Doyden Evening Stroll
Too much leisure so headed out for an evening stroll to look view the castle from the other direction. K spotted the kestrel otherwise I would have walked right past it.

Doyden Day At Leisure!
Too nice a day so stayed around our castle. Leisurely start, cooked brekkie then sat by the castle before heading down for a swim. Back up to the castle for more relaxing and a cream tea.

Trebarwith Strand - Tintagle, part II
After reaching Tintagle we crossed over the impressive new bridge (40,000 slates) and explored the “castle”.
Back at Trebarwith the tide was crashing in and we sat and watched it (some would say for too long!).

Trebarwith Strand - Tintagle, part I
Explored the beach before our first pasty of the holiday sat on the beach! Then set off along the coastal path to Tintagle. More pics in next post.

Bossiney - Willapark - Rocky Valley
A misty day, though slightly better along the coast then on the drive round. Curzyway stone walls. On another day, with a lower tide, Bossiney Haven looked a good swimming spot. As promised by the walk leaflet there was a dipper along Rocky Valley!
