I’ve been finding out a lot about Oz lately. Most notably, that Princess Ozma is depicted as a benevolent and caring ruler, that she’s a socialist, AND that she invited Dorothy and her entire family to stay in her castle upon their move to Oz.

I think our current day world leaders have a lot to learn from this turn-of-the-century trans lesbian.

Heheheh. Yes. Glinda gets all locked up and then watches just…the purest happiest, healthiest relationship between Dorothy and Ozma (this is canon, I’m telling y’all here, Dozma will have no angst in between them. I need some fluff somewhere in this fic) and she’s filled with rage and the…there should be a word for ‘the want to strangle someone’ and also Dozma makes her miss Elphie

Meanwhile Boq is filled with glee that Glinda is miserable.

Currently reading Book 3 of the Wizard of Oz novels and let me just say that Frank L. Baum did NOT hold back in making Dorothy a pining lesbian for Ozma within their first interaction. I mean... whoa.... he really did THAT

This is a fic fraught with platonic love.

Fiyero/Elphaba is a thing, but only in the very start of their introduction to the fic, and it quickly kinda…dissolves. I’m sorry to the people who are a fan of it.
