the inspo for The Noose is the Taylor-Burton diamond, which Elizabeth Taylor had reset from a ring into a necklace bc the diamond was too heavy. Rubies of similar size are the most expensive gems that aren't diamonds, and go for millions.

The Noose has yellow gold settings and yellow diamonds for the chain. The joke Allie makes with Selina about them is that yellow diamonds are comparatively not very valuable.
