Puppet 9/11 is a thing. Puppet 9/11 canonically happened in the Muppet Universe.

And it was, at least in part, Kermit The Frogs Fault.

In a 'It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas' (a movie released in November of 2002, this is important i promise) Kermit the frog, in the style of 'Its A Wonderful Life' wishes he was never born. An angel then shows him What Life Would Be Like if Kermit The Frog never existed.

Now. In these sequences of shots we see the various muppets and their horrible Kermit-less existences, but we ALSO see, in a wide shot of New York City, the fucking twin towers.

"E," I hear you cry. "Why is this important? It's supposed to be a wide shot of years before, of course the twin towers are still there!"

I'm taking your hand my sweet child. Because there's also a shot in that sequence that tells us the this fantasy "What if Kermit Didn't Exist" shot is Set In 2003.

The filmmakers, IN THE END OF 2002, DECIDED TO KEEP THAT DETAIL

If Kermit the frog was never born, 9/11 wouldn't have happened. But because Kermit the Frog exists, and because he has a canonical appearance with The Count Von Count on sesame street, THAT MEANS.

Puppet 9/11 happened.

So the hate club, created by Dr. Murray Birch, would have TSA.

Because Kermit the Frog did 9/11
