I think a lot about character design, so I just wanted to take a moment to point out something about the design of the characters in Deltarune and part of why they’re so great.

Silhouettes.

One of the core pieces of good character design involves making a memorable silhouette - and for literally all of the characters, this holds true. It makes them fun to draw, too - and can establish character relationships, roles, etc. Long rambling cut short, friendly reminder that Toby Fox only grows more powerful as time passes and his skills with so many aspects of storytelling will drag us into the sweet void of fan delight with exponentially increasing strength.
