#12.17#12.21#dr hess#mick davies#crowley#indoctrination is essential for the bmol to function - boarding school/their code/brainwashing#there is a hierarchy of beings within the bmol (obviously based within eugenics and implicated w the hogwarts esque school)#that 'monsters' are not below being negotiated with as long as it provides influence and power#bc we know the bmol is based upon 'the code' & raising children in strict environments with highly regulated 'truths' and perceptions of#acceptable beings/unacceptable beings and are known to brainwash even their own agents (mick shows remnants of this when dean and sam talk#down from shooting eileen which he blurts 'the code!' as a justification then we cannot know what amount of the bmol foundation is built on#reliable truth instead of indoctrinating information shared in order to assimilate people#this is shown through mick attempting to sell a 'world without monsters/demons' to influence trust and create a same goal (comradery) when#obviously through dr hess' relationship revealed with crowley she never had any intention of ever ridding the world of monsters/demons#which would invariably 'put them at (real) war' and remove their reasoning for existing ie removing them from their#self ordained position of authority and power#'assimilate or eliminate' this is used on their own people/hunters and likely 'monsters' that wont play into a role that fuels the system
