Blackgaard Article’s Up!!
http://www.audiotheatrecentral.com/2015/04/what-makes-dr-regis-blackgaard-a-good-villian.html
Super exciting news! After so much procrastinating and waiting, my analysis article for Audio Theatre Central about Dr. Regis Blackgaard’s finally up!
14 months ago, ATC approached me, asking me to create an article out of the same-named Oddcast episode, wherein we did a character study on everyone’s favourite AIO villain. At long last, here we are.

Super-duper thanks for ameraka and Mark Redekop for proof-reading!
Everyone should know that ameraka is a lovely person who is an excellent writer and very good and quick at proofreading, with a great eye for detail!
I just finished (finally) my Blackgaard article for ATC!!!
Are there any writers following me who could please proofread the 1500 words? It doesn't matter if you're an Odyssian or not, I'm just looking for a grammar/syntax/wording check.
I get so weirded out when I see those text posts about making out with your icon or having them serve you breakfast naked and stuff.
Everyone has their fictional crushes as their icons and I'm just like "Dr. Blackgaard. Please. No."
My favorite villain
Dr. Regis Blackgaard is the most underrated villain ever. I understand he was just a villain in a Christian radio program, but he will always be my favorite bad guy. Not to mention my first ever bad guy crush. His twisted evil mind, sadistic ways, and sexy voice will forever be in my mind. I love how while there is small bits of art done to show what he could look, I was allowed to have my own image of him. Aka he will always be such a dilf to me (Even though he never had any kids). Black hair with stripes of gray, cruel smile, tall and fit, suits, long coats, dark eyes either green or brown, probably in his 50s. He killed people ruthlessly and enjoyed it. He was manipulative and dark, yet a gentleman. His voice gave me such pleasant chills. In regard to his death, many people assume he was killed in the blast of the bomb he set off. But considering his cruel cunning mind, I think we can all agree that it was more likely to be his twins body, Edwin Blackgaard. (Yes he has a twin.). In the end I didn't give a damn that he had no religious status, because that's pretty much what they tried to convey. Religious? You must be really nice. No religion? You're must be an evil handsome bastard. My reaction was, shut up and let the evil sexy bastard talk before making all your lives a living hell.
Regis Blackgaard: So I suggest you run for your life.
What Makes Blackgaard A Good Villain?-AIOO#21
Our next discussion episode covered the most popular villain in AIO history, and the man from whom I take my URL. Dr. Regis Blackgaard is a villain over villains, and is basically human!Scar in my mind. Victoria and I look at the nature of villains and villainy to try and figure out what makes Blackgaard so fiendishly popular. We also discuss other popular villains such as Loki, the Joker, and the Master to discover the formula for the perfect baddie.
