Out of curiousity, Why does Elizabeth have the same last name ast Leonard stern, and isn't he technically pretty old compared to her?

When I came up with Elizabeth, I already thought they would be married... Yes...

As for Elizabeth's age, it's 27 now, and Leonard is somewhere 50-60 years old. But for now, they're just talking and walking along the embankment

Elizabeth Stern lived in London at the age of 4-10 (There she found herself a cat). After that, she moved to Springfield with her parents. When she turned 17, she entered Harvard. He comes to Springfield on vacation to see his parents. Elizabeth found a part-time job in the library there. She is a very kind and quiet girl who likes to read books and drink tea🍵📖

As for Leonard Stern, they're just dating for now, like acquaintances. Elizabeth is not in a hurry to get married and the like yet, she just enjoys freedom and life. Leonard and Elizabeth are waiting for the right moment to marry or just cohabitation.👩‍❤️‍👨
