This 28 yr old man had noticed thinning in his frontal hairline and came in for a consultation with Dr. Steven Gabel. Since the patient did not want the traditional linear scar that can appear with a typical Follicular Unit Transplant, otherwise known as strip surgery, Dr. Gabel recommended FUE, or #Follicular Unit Excision surgery, where individual grafts are extracted, then transplanted into the frontal region. In total, Dr. Gabel and his staff transplanted 2192 grafts into the patient's frontal region in session. The follow-up results are 1 year from his original surgery date. The before and after results are quite remarkable, don't you think?

Dr Steven Gabel | FUT 1571 Grafts in the Frontal Hairline | 1 Year Results

This 28-year-old male was diagnosed with Male Pattern Baldness and wanted a hair transplant to restore his frontal hairline. He wanted to increase the density in the afflicted areas and so opted for a Follicular Unit Transplant (Strip) procedure. The patient has a good density in the donor area, and we were able to transplant #1571 ultra refined follicular unit grafts into the frontal zone in a high-density pattern at our Portland Hair Transplant Clinic as depicted in the photographs. The patient is very happy with his results and excited with the new, increase in density of the affected area. His patients' postoperative results in these images are 12 months from the original surgery.
